I’m currently reading “Keeping the Faith, Memoirs of a President”, by Jimmy Carter. In his book commenting about Tip O’Neill, he says, “At first, our relationship was somewhat strained because of our different backgrounds and philosophies, but eventually I grew to love this man”. In the next paragraph from Carter’s diary he shares, “ with Tip pointing out how much more we achieved than most Presidents, except Roosevelt in the first four months”.

Good story, Ray. I wonder if Jane Fonda remembers when she bagged a well-known historian.
