Does Trump's pardon of Evans remove the court's judgement against him? Is he still considered a felon, or is his record scrubbed?
I'm no legal scholar, but it's my understanding that accepting a pardon does not absolve one of a conviction. It merely relieves one consequences. Maybe a Weakly subscriber has a better answer?
Then, hopefully, he STILL can't run for office in a West Virginia statewide, county, or municipal office.
